China’s 5G technology which can be used in scenarios with ultra-high reliability and ultra-low time delay has reached the world’s leading level. The journalist of Economic Information Daily reported that Guangzhou metro Line 14 Knowledge City branch realized the real-time transmission of 30-channel HD video in single train for the first time in the world. It is reported that Guangzhou metro achieved this technological breakthrough because of the strong support of Guangdong government, in addition, they used the new generation of wireless communication technology-Enhanced Ultra High Throughput (EUHT) technology from Guangzhou Nufront.
The journalist noticed that 24 HD cameras were installed in Line 14 metro and 3HD cameras were installed in the driver’s cab, which realized the real-time monitoring in the metro.
As a matter of fact, EUHT technology has been installed and deployed in the Beijing-Tianjin Intercity High-Speed railway in January 2017. The result of third-party test showed that under the speed of 300km/h, the handover success rate of EUHT-5G is 100%, the data packet loss rate is 0.41%, the average end-to-end transmission delay is 6 ms. It means the EUHT-5G technology with the characteristics of high reliability and low latency has reached the requirement of 5G technology. In this year, a famous domestic robot manufacturer tested the EUHT-5G technology. The result showed that under the environment of intelligent factory, the data packet loss rate of EUHT 5G technology was 0 (less than the requirement of 5G). These industrialization examples show that our independent EUHT-5G technology has become a world leader.
At present, countries are competing for the dominant right of the next generation wireless communication 5G technology. The speed of 5G technology R&D and standardization are obviously increase. The application of 5G technology of the world’s mainstream manufacturers is still focused on the application scenario of enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB), aiming to further improve the consumer wireless communication bandwidth on mobile phones. However, 5G technology has been seen as a revolution because it will be used in industrial production area, such as Internet of vehicles, industrial interconnection and high-speed rail.
